What’s exciting in 2016

Following on from December’s Blogs on Top Highlights for 2015,  here are what our industry leaders are looking forward to in 2016...

Mindy Gibbins-Klein

The Book Midwife, Publisher and author of The Thoughtful Leader

“For 2016, I plan to do more motivational speaking like that which I did with Les Brown in 2015, as I move my personal and business brands into line with my new book The Thoughtful Leader.  It will mean raising my game even more,  and that’s exciting!”

Bryony Thomas

The Watertight Marketer and Author of Watertight Marketing

“In 2016, I am really excited to be kicking off the re-vamped version of our Marketing Masterplan programme. It’s a programme I’ve run for three years now. Over the last six months I have spoken to nearly every one of the people to have been through it, to people who’ve gone though other similar programmes and to the growing network of Watertight Marketing Accredited Consultants. What we’ve come up with is just so much better than what’s gone before! It is better paced with manageable tasks over 12 months. We’ve moved to set intakes, in January, April and September, so that a group moving through the programme get to know and support one another through the process, and with the mixed skills and styles of the consultants also involved in delivering the material, the delegates have a much richer pool of expertise at their disposal. We’re also been able to make smart use of digital technologies to offer the core programme at just £100 per month – meaning we no longer need to turn so many people away based on budgets. We’re all so excited… I cannot wait to get the first success stories out!”

Karen Moxom

Managing Director of ANLP

“As well as day to day membership support (in a number of ways, including maintaining the website, Rapport and the NLP conference), there are three ANLP projects which have been my focus for a while now…they will come to fruition in 2016, when they are fully ripened. These have been small seeds, nurtured, loved and watered as they have slowly grown…patience is certainly a virtue, which I never thought I had until now!

So I anticipate 2016 will be a year of growth and harvesting the ripened fruits, tending the seeds and nurturing the garden…physically in my new home space as well as metaphorically.”

Karen Meager

Co-Founder of Monkey Puzzle Training, Author and INLPTA Master Trainer

“With so much to look forward to in 2016 it’s hard to know where to start. I am looking forward to launching to new book and all the lead up and preparation around that. With one under our belt, we are much more mentally prepared for it all this time. I am also looking forward to growing our associate base and taking a lead on coaching and mentoring our associates – this means I’ll have to let go of some things which will be one of my challenges I’m sure.”

John McLachlan

Co-Founder of Monkey Puzzle Training, Author and INLPTA Master Trainer

“On a personal front have a couple of key outcomes that I will focus on delivering that I am excited about and will be important stepping stones for the future. I will, of course, keep the personal trainer going, despite the occasional whine and moan – there are times I think Ian is deaf you know!

I am looking forward to working with and expanding our Associate group in 2016. We have always wanted to expand the impact of the work we do and work with more expansive and growing organisations and the only way to do that is to grow the business. We have some exciting associates coming through and I am looking forward to working with and learning from them. It looks like I will be doing a lot more speaking events so that will be an opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone. And there is the new book which will be written soon and 2016 will be a year of promoting it which I am looking forward it.”
